One of the reasons, I became a doctor was to help people. The more lives I change, the more rewarding I find each day. Despite a successful practice, I felt a need to expand my reach and help more people – people, who for whatever reason, could not step foot through the doors of my practice. I came to realize that I could educate more individuals about their health and the best ways to manage it through online video and publications. It took some time to develop a suaveness to being in front of the camera and on interviews, but it has made my career even more rewarding –I believe widespread patient education is vital to mainstreaming the concept of preventive medicine.
