What a whirlwind weekend filled with all kinds of fun!
I attended the A4M (Academy of Anti Aging Medicine) conference this weekend where I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to teach doctors about prescribing bioidentical hormone therapy to their patients and about female sexuality and how to help women who are struggling with their sex drive. At the female sexuality conference we got all the practitioners- doctors, nurses, pharmacists and all others that attended to jump up and shake their booty to the song, “I’m too sexy for my shirt”! It was tons of fun! Not typical medical conference at all. Well, it was about sex after all. I was so excited because one of the main reasons I wanted give this lecture was to raise awareness about a new series of education that I am designing for doctors to learn about sexual health for men and women. This area is so important but underrepresented in the medical community.

I flew straight from the conference to NY where I attended a beautiful family wedding. Watching weddings are so romantic for me and my husband. I think even our kids felt the romance in the air this weekend between Mom and Dad. Being in NY allowed me to take advantage of some opportunities to see some media folks and I had a blast yesterday at “The Doctor’s Channel” filming educational online segments for doctors. Yesterday I also taped a great show with Menopause r us blog talk radio. I think it will air Thursday. They asked some great questions! The show is chuck full of info about sex and hormones! Today I will round out the NY trip with Dr. Manny from Fox News. He is always a lot of fun to talk to. We’ll be addressing some great topics like bhrt, vaginal dryness and even fibromyalgia!
